Commercial Beekeeper Pat Ennis Sees Success With Premier Foundation

Throughout the 2020 season, commercial beekeeper Pat Ennis of Goodell, Iowa, experimented with Premier Foundation across his approximate 900 hives.

Upon analyzing the results compared to other brands of plastic foundation, Ennis and his employees unanimously agreed that Premier Foundation seemed to produce more drawn out comb and at a quicker rate.

By Ennis’s estimations, his bees pulled approximately 70% of Premier Foundation’s surface area, while other brands generated 35-40%.

Self admittedly, Ennis was skeptical of Premier Foundation’s ability to produce significant yields over competitors before the season began.
