How To Assemble a Pura or Propola Hive Body With Ben Tursam!
Hive body assembly doesn’t have to be frustrating.
In fact, at Premier Bee Products we have engineered our hive bodies for easy assembly.
In this video, our production manager, Ben Tursam, walks you through each step giving little tips along the way.
Before jumping into it, let’s gather what items you need.
You will need:
▶️ HIVEBOND 4000 wood glue (Or any waterproof wood glue)
▶️ Rubber mallet
▶️ Hive body kit
▶️ Disposable cup
▶️ Wood glue brush
▶️ Staple gun and safety glasses
Or
▶️ 7 D framing nails
With your supplies gathered let’s dig into the assembly.
S T E P 1 | Lay out your side pieces.
S T E P 2 | Brush all tenons with waterproof glue. We recommend HIVEBOND 4000.
S T E P 3 | Tap the front and back pieces into the sides. Make sure your handles are properly aligned.
S T E P 4 | Staple the bottom tenon, top tenon, and one or two staples in the middle.
