Kicking Off 2025 at the Nation's Biggest Bee Show

Beekeepers across the country agree—the best way to start the new year is at the North American Honey Bee Expo in Louisville, Kentucky.

There was no way we were going to miss out on the fun, so we packed up semi-loads of products and made the trek to join thousands of beekeepers for the event of the year.

If you’re unfamiliar, the North American Honey Bee Expo is a gathering of beekeepers across the country for a multi-day conference featuring expert speakers, vendors, and networking.

After some reflection, we narrowed down a few of our favorite NAHBE highlights:

After some reflection, we narrowed down a few of our favorite NAHBE highlights:

  • Sharing our products: We were able to educate thousands of beekeepers on our innovative products, such as Propola, Puracell foundation, and our premium Endurahive wax-dipped hive bodies. We may be biased, but we love talking about our products to anyone who will listen!

  • The Oak Tree: Our booth featured (for the second year) a natural Red Oak bee tree with a naturally formed propolis envelope. (see it here) This was again a highlight for many attendees and a great resource to learn about the benefits of propolis in the hive.

  • Research Experts: Two researchers from the University of Minnesota Bee Lab (Ben Ziegler and Nelson Williams) worked at our booth to educate on the latest in propolis research.

  • Wall of Speaker Boxes: One of our top sellers is engraved and personalized hive boxes. This year we created a personalized engraved box for each speaker at NAHBE. We stacked these all up and made a wall of fame…..err wall of “speaker boxes”.

  • YOU: All in all, the highlight was getting to shake hands and talk with many of our friends, partners, and customers like you in what is one of the largest and most tightly knit communities in beekeeping!

We are already dreaming about next year’s NAHBE.

If you missed it this year and are in need of foundations, frames, or boxes, head to our online store or give us a call at (605) 951-0267.

We look forward to serving you!

Our propolis filled Red Oak tree was a highlight for many who stopped at our booth.
