Observing Nucs With Commercial Beekeeper Kenny Lappe

In May of 2020, we joined Kenny Lappe of Lappe’s Bee Supply along a tour of dozens of nucs with Premier Foundation installed. The results were outstanding.

The Lappes reside in East Peru, Iowa and own over 3,700 hives altogether. They also own and operate a bee supply business.

We are grateful for their hospitality in showing us the success of their nucs with our foundation. It’s no surprise to us that the bees draw comb so well when the foundation mimics their natural comb.
