Carefully milled from quality, select-grade white pine. Thick 3/4” top bars and 1/2” bottom bars provide a sturdy base for repeated inspections and extractions.
Beveled end bars make assembly easy as pie. Top and bottom bar grooves are chamfered to allow for easy insertion of Puracell™ foundation.
Assemble with Hivebond™ 4000 waterproof wood glue and staples or nails to ensure your frame is built to last.

What grade of lumber is used in your frames? We use only select-grade eastern white pine for our unassembled and assembled frames.
Is assembly required? Yes. The unassembled frame ships with frame components unassembled (i.e., end bars, top bars, and bottom bars detached). Nails and glue are not included.

Every inch of our frame is precisely milled and chamfered to assist the beekeeper. Rounded top-bar tabs and beveled end bars make for stress-free assembly, installation, and extraction.
Robust design.
A center leg on the frame’s bottom corner provides structural rigidity and 40% more gluing surface area than standard frames. Secure with Hivebond™ 4000 wood glue and nails or staples to support the strongest frame in beekeeping (sold separately).
